On January 12, 2013 four athletes from the NEGC competitive team took part in the St. Albert Gymnastics Club Winter Flip Competition. This was the first competition of the year for these girls and was Hannah's first competition ever!In the P2 Tyro (2001)division Reagan won her first medal ever with the silver medal on bars and placed 4th on Vault and Floor and placed 6th in the All Around.
In the P2 Novice division Samantha earned her first ever Gold medal by winning Vault and also earned the bronze medal on bars. She also placed 5th on floor and earned the Bronze medal in the All Around!
Hannah and Gia competed in the P2 Open division and both had great days! Hannah earned her first 2 medals with Bronze medals on Vault and floor. She also placed 7th on Bars and 8th on beam which helped her to a 4th place finish in the all around. Gia won the Gold medal on beam and also added silver medals on vault and floor on her way to the silver medal in the All Around.What a great start to the year!
